BackgroundEdit

It first appears in the Gameboy games of Pokémon Red and Blue and is a rare Pokémon of the two games. However, Pikachu got its own game (Pokémon Yellow) after it became popular from the anime. Yellow is based on the anime as Pikachu is the player's starter Pokémon.

InvolvementEdit

In the regular Pokémon games, it is an electric Pokémon that can evolve into another electric Pokémon called Raichu. Its pre-evolution is called Pichu. It is catchable in every game but Pokémon Yellow, where it is given to the player.
